The medical housestaff of Beth Israel Deaconess are embarking on an educational project that we hope will fundamentally improve the way that residents learn medicine and teach medical students and each other.  This does not replace the clinical and didactic teaching in the hospital, but it captures, compiles, and presents educational work in a archive that is easily accessible.  The platform for this project is called "Wiki," which translates to "fast," and essentially is a web portal which allows quick uploading and quick dissimination of information. At the heart of the wiki platform is the notion that anyone can modify and add to pages, which we believe is an extension of peer teaching.
